The Design Process

1. The design process starts with a complimentary meeting to see your home and the spaces involved in your project. We review your objectives and vision for your design.

2. After the first meeting, FID will send you a proposal (Letter of Agreement) which outlines, room by room, what FID will be doing for you. This scope of service list is used to calculate how long your project could possibly take and will include an estimate of time and cost.

3. Once you decide to embark on your design journey, we will meet to get to know your lifestyle and design preferences—what colors, finishes, and silhouettes you like—which helps to establish a style direction for your new space.

4. Then the fun begins. Fiorito Interior Design will assemble products, images, and physical samples for your project that support the style direction and story we have created together. Through in-person meetings at your home and at product showrooms, FID will present design options that make it easy for you to visualize the proposed design. Once you approve finishes, products, and furniture, we move on to the home stretch.

5. This final phase includes placing orders, coordinating with your contractor and tradespeople, overseeing construction finish work, furniture and art placement, and confirming installation details until the end result is perfect…and yours to enjoy.

“Jeff listened to our needs (particularly with the ‘kid friendly’ aspect) and created a space that has become an oasis. It’s been one of our favorite rooms. His taste is impeccable and we can’t thank him enough! Hiring an interior designer was new for us, but Jeff was upfront and forward with the steps he would take and what was involved in his work. He kept us within budget as well. Jeff is fantastic and we highly recommend him.”

Jeff is experienced, smart, responsive, a good listener, and an outstanding creative partner for your design project. We started our conversation with Jeff by outlining our big-picture goals and values for our remodel. The development of the design was a collaborative process. Jeff’s follow-through was excellent. He checked in regularly through the implementation of the whole project. At the end, I felt that Jeff was as excited about our completed project as we were. When I walk into our new bathroom, I feel a sense of peace, well-being, and a great sense of accomplishment! I am so grateful to have had Jeff Fiorito as my designer.”

“Jeff has been the designer on several of our projects over the years. What a pleasure he is to work with. He gets the details worked out before we start bidding. It gives our clients an accurate cost for their project so they have a very good idea of what their budget needs to be. I think his design style is creative without going over the top. We’ve done bathrooms, kitchens, and even wine cellars with Jeff’s guidance!”
